Resolution No. 10
To Open Accounts at Banks and Other Financial Institutions
February 22, 2002
WHEREAS, the City requires accounts at banks or other financial institutions to facilitate its City operations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that two accounts shall be opened at First National Bank in Fairfield, and one account each at Iowa State Bank and Central Valley Bank in Fairfield;
FURTHER RESOLVED, that one account at First National Bank shall be used as an operating account for the City and the other as a restricted account to hold proceeds from the distribution of Raam currency, and the accounts at both Iowa State Bank and Central Valley Bank shall be restricted accounts to hold proceeds from the distribution of Raam currency;
FURTHER RESOLVED, that signatories on these accounts shall be Bob Wynne, Mayor, and Rogers Badgett, Chris Johnson, and Tim Fitz-Randolph, all City Council members, and that two signatures are required for any withdrawal from any account;
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council may from time to time approve the increase or decrease of accounts at any financial institution or to change the signatories on any account.
